Why Give to RCS?
Like an acorn, your gift of support to the ministry of Renton Christian School will grow into something that lasts a lifetime. Tuition alone does not pay for all the expenses of operating a first-class educational institution. Our tuition remains quite reasonable because of the donations of generous families. Without those donations, our tuition would have to be increased.
Campus Development Fund
For 30 years New Life Church (previously Renton Assembly) has carried the financial burden of providing the facilities for Renton Christian School. Since 1995, the church has provided $13 million dollars worth of facilities for use by the school. Now "it's our turn" to aid in campus development by raising $500,000 for three main purposes:
- Soccer Field
- Enhanced Playground
- Remodeled Gymnasium
Renton Christian School has launched a capital campaign to raise money for these campus upgrades. Would you like to support our students and provide funds to assist in this project? Betty Ratzsch Scholarship Fund
The Scholarship Fund has been established in order build a secure financial foundation of Renton Christian School. In the future, as the fund grows, RCS wants to utilize funds for student financial aid, continuing teacher education, and other important needs for the students and staff of Renton Christian. In order to solidify the future of RCS, we must continue to value this visionary fund by dedicating dollars to its growth.

What are the future plans for Renton Christian School?
Many students and parents have asked whether or not Renton Christian will ever open a high school. Right now, the leadership of Renton Christian School and New Life Church are gathering data in order to determine how much capital and the steps necessary to add 9th-12th grade. This process will be done with prayerful and careful consideration. If a formal capital campaign to fund a new high school campus becomes reality, it will be done so with a couple of guiding principles. First, a high school would need to open in a separate location other than on our current campus. Second, such a goal must be accomplished without incurring debt. This would require the acquisition of funds in advance of land development and building construction. Stay tuned as the Head of School will communicate news as it becomes available. If this project moves forward it will be the most ambitious in the history of Renton Christian School. Exciting to even think about, isn't it?
