Boys Basketball Mid-Season Update
- Boys Basketball
GO ROYALS!!
As the season seems to be flying by, our D1 and D2 Boys Basketball teams are soaring undefeated!
On January 5th, D1 started the season strong with a home opener vs. Cedar Park Christian (Lynnwood). With London Walsh as leading scorer, scoring 17 points, our RCS Boys won! Due to the team succeeding beyond expectations, the referee asked that the scoreboard be stopped at 40 and did not accurately reflect the final points as the game continued.
On December 8th, D1 won another home game, this time against Brighton. With another high scoring game, the scoreboard was once again stopped at 40 points. Levi Baca was the leading scorer with 13 points.
On December 12th – D1 Boys Basketball brought on another win, with a final score against Providence 48 to 12; London Walsh was the leading scorer with 14 Points.
With the first D2 game of the season, our team won against Providence with a similar score of 49 to 15; Amani Tuiasosopo was the leading scorer with 15 points.
On December 15th, D1 Boys Basketball won against Buena Vista 59 to 39; Landen Dubois was the leading scorer with 21 Points.
Since there was not an opposing team to compete against our D2 team, they played in a scrimmage with the White RCS Team vs. the Purple RCS Team. The Purple team won 20 to 19; Rocco Lombardo was the leading scorer for the Purple team with 10 points; Amani Tuiasosopo was the leading scorer for the White team.
With three more games in January we are proud and excited to continue to cheer on our teams!! Here are the opportunities to watch:
Wednesday January 18th, Home vs. Billings (D1 will begin at 4pm, D2 at 5pm)
Thursday January 19th, Home vs. Seattle Hebrew Academy (D1 will begin at 4pm, D2 at 5pm)
Wednesday January 25th, Home vs. Evergreen (D1 will begin at 4pm, D2 at 5pm)
We hope to see you here supporting our boys before the season ends!
