D1 & D2 Boys Basketball Defeat Evergreen Christian!

Another exciting evening on the court last night as our D1 boys defeated Evergreen Christian 65 to 36. Although it looks like the Royals ran away with the game, Evergreen battled the Royals in the first half. RCS dominated the second half with a great team effort and strong defense. Bennett Nguyen displayed great leadership at PG while playing excellent defense down the stretch. The Royal's leading scorer was Landon Walsh with 23 points. Landen DuBois also had a great night, adding another 18 points from the field.

Our D2 squad also came away with a victory, defeating Evergreen 36 to 24. The Royals started out slow as Evergreen Christian jumped out to a 10-0 lead. After a time out called by Coach Lambert, the Royals refocused and went on a run that helped them take control of the game. The Royals played great zone defense, and Amani Tuiasosopo (10 points) and Landen Tran had (9 points) led the team in scoring to secure the win.
