Boys Basketball End Season Undefeated

Just like that, our 2022-2023 RCS Boys Basketball season has come to an end and our Royals finished UNDEFEATED!!

Here is this week's recap:

Home vs. Evergreen on Wednesday, January 25^th

D1 - After a competitive battle during the first half, the D1 boys basketball team took control of the second half and defeated Evergreen by a score of 66 to 20. 

Enzo Lombardo was the leading scorer with 16 points while Landen Dubois and Tyson Burley both had a 11 points.

D2 – This game was also a very competitive one as the D2 team kept the lead through the second half and defeated Evergreen by a score of 48 to 30.

Three RCS D2 players scored double digits; Dylan Dunkley scored 12 points, Ty Dalpay scored 11 points, and Oliver Carpinito scored 10 points.

Away vs. Buena Vista on Thursday, January 26^th (D1 Only)

Buena Vista got off to a great start and seemingly controlled the game, ending the first half up by 11 points. However, the RCS D1 team showed a lot of heart and great defense to ultimately take control of the second half, defeating Buena Vista by a score of 69 to 57.

London Walsh was outstanding as he scored 29 points, followed by Landen Dubois scoring 13 points and Tyson Burley scoring 12.

Congratulations players and Coaches!! A great season for both our D1 and D2 teams.
